Short Biography

I am an associate professor in both School of Computer Science & Technology and School of Software Engineering, University of Science & Technology of China (USTC). Meanwhile, I also serves as the vice dean of the School of Software Engineering. I am also the committee member of China Computer Federation Technical Committee on Sensor Network (CCF TCSN). I received my B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from USTC, Hefei, China, in 2002 and 2007 respectively.

My current research interests are wireless (sensor) networks, distribute systems, data mining, and machine learning, and I am also interested in all kinds of applications of AI and data mining technologies especially in urban computing and AI4Science. I have published about 60 high-level papers on research journals and conferences, including some top level international journals and conferences, such as Nature Water, PNAS, JACS, ICLR, NeurIPS, MOBICOM, KDD, WWW, AAAI, IJCAI, UBICOMP, INFOCOM, ICDCS, SECON, ICDE, ICDM and some IEEE Transactions, such as IEEE TPAMI and IEEE TKDE. My research is supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Project of Stable Support for Youth Team in Basic Research Field, etc. I received the IBM Faculty Award in 2017 for the significant contributions in the field of Vehicular Network and Intelligent Transportation system.
